Music works fine until approximately halfway through the "intro-jingle" of the first puzzle opened. Here it suddently mutes, never to be heard again. The rest of the game works fine as far as I can tell.

Is it just the music that stops playing, or do all the sounds stop playing?

I have had the same on win7 64 bit, but it turned out to be not foldit related. Still havent found a solution yet.

#2: It's only the music: Sounds e.g. for gaining a higher score still plays, but there is no music while e.g. using wiggle.
#3: I read your posts (if it was the issue you reported here on fold.it?) and I am fairly convinced this is not the same bug, e.g. because my sound works perfectly outside of fold.it, and because the bug is so consistent: Music stops at exactly the same point of playing the same jingle every time…

Okay now I really know what is your problem, I think you must change a new pc bro! Windows XP is no more in the market ! It is already bargained in the dumpsites, why not buy Intel core i7 pc with Windows 8 OS. I am pretty sure that it will out be lagged out or any sound defect again! :) Be with us to , purchase cheap youtube likes
