Client crashes in loading solution (latest Foldit update: today)

On PC XP or Mac, client stops running once I try to load anything (share of the group, of myself, or saves of myself).

Well, in the meantime, I found a radical solution suggested by a team member:

-unlog from all (including WWW): it seems this was a condition
-delete (or rename) all Foldit folders (uninstall)
-download again for each platform

Now it works (but I loose all my best local saves)

Of course, it would be better if either:
-the error message suggests what to do
-this kind of bug do not happens

I'll try to find out another log on saved old folders

No I get the same problem with another PC. I renamed Foldit folder, I reinstalled everything (another session is open on another PC, a mac).

Again crash when trying to load a shared solution.

First on caps Roll, now on ED

That is so strange, especially with a fresh install!

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hopefully we can figure this out tomorrow (today is a holiday in the US)

Is i linked to the fact that there is a point in my user name?
I had no problem with a test other account.

I Found a solution</>: (when downloading again Foldit, I used to renamed the Foldit map in Folditold in order to be able to retrieve my macro file)

-unistall Foldit and delete everything from administrator session on PC
-download and install foldit

Like this, it works again, finally ! (but I loose all may saves and macros at this computer).
