Selecting "quit" at the initial user id/password dialog crashes the client.
The message "Couldn't quit: Illegal operation for this state (......\source\src\game\util\IRC.cc:465)
done" appears in log.txt, attached.

The log previously attached had an unhandled exception, not the "couldn't quit" message.
The attached log has the "couldn't quit" message.
I'm not sure if the "unhandled exception" is related, but it seems like it was the initial symptom. Then, with repeated tests, I started seeing "couldn't quit" instead.
Please disregard the last post and reference to the "could'nt quit" message. The log.txt originally submitted has the correct unhandled exception message. The "couldn't quit" message was in a log file archived from a previous test.
Added the comment to your link as well Brow, but this issue is currently fixed in the devprev build.
This seems to be fixed in the current client. Cleaning up feedback list.
