I went to the Foldit Wiki web page. I got an "unresponsive script" error message.
I use Mozilla Firfox. There is a dump of my Firfox Console in the attached file.
When I tried to copy and paste the console dump here, I got a message that I was
putting spam in your system and the feedback would not be accepted.
Hmmm… I'm not sure what we can do about issues on the Wiki site - that isn't run by us. You might try contacting Wikia and letting them know.
Wikia is a cesspit of invasive advertising. This is basically a legitimate bug in their layers of outsourced advertising outsourcing, or your anti-virus is blocking something. To make wikia usable, I installed NoScript, and I also switch Flash to "Ask to Activate in Addons/Plugins". To edit a page, I need to log in and turn scripts back on. However, a lot of the advertising goes away while logged in.
Thanks for the information about Wikia. I got the error message three times before I reported the bug. The next day I went on again and could not get the error message.
