IRC retries
It is odd that IRC tries again to connect after getting an error - my impression up until now is that it gives up at the first error and does not try again.

There is still an unsolved bug out there where the client dies sometimes after receiving an IRC error - if the new client tries IRC over and over, it has a higher chance of encountering that crash condition eventually.

on client 20160805-86bc4e969d-win_x86-devprev, I did not get any crash using the files from the 20160830-fdb38222fb-win_x86-devprev client (running the same scripts).

On today's devprev client, 20160830-fdb38222fb-win_x86-devprev, my client is not re-trying IRC after the initial error (error 5, meaning my nick is already in use). It is also not crashing on puzzle 1278. I'm on Win 7 (bertro is on Win 10). I tried both with network timeouts enabled and disabled.
