Hi!
I attempted to start Fold.it on Mac Sierra 10.12.1, it attempts to connect with the server and download some updates, but then it crashes. Do you have any suggestions how to fix it?

Where are u running the app from? If not in applications then try moving there.

This did not help. I just downloaded the game, it is in the applications folder and the same thing devkate said. I get the open screen but then it shuts.
Any advice?

Did you try restarting your system then try again ? (I can have this bug, but personally only after a long Foldit running - may be it would not help you).

Do Mac provide you with a error log screen (to send to mac)? You could copy this and send it to the developer or here.

I had this problem on Mac Sierra and found that it crashed when I put it in the main /Applications folder, but works when I put it in the Applications folder within my home directory /Users//Applications.
