The band strength slider has changed in the current devprev release. The maximum strength was recently increased to 10, but now it's back to 1.5 in devprev.
In devprev, the slider now starts in the middle, at strength 1.0 for a new band. This actually seems to make it easier to select a value less than 1.0.
The minimum band strength is still 0.5.
The appearance of the band strength and length sliders has changed. Previously, the numeric values were displayed centered in bright white about the slider.
In devprev, the numeric values appear in a text box, grayed, and left-justified. Unfortunately, the text box is read-only, so you can't just type in the desired value.
The new version of the length slider seems to move more smoothly than the old one. Both move in increments of about 0.12 Angstroms (close enough for our purposes), but the old slider seems a little sticky by comparison, more likely to make larger jumps. Maybe something has changed under the covers.
