This error message occurs when I created a contest using the HIV Protease template and then selected the "Pick Sidechain" and/or the "Ideal SS" options. I am running Windows 10 Home 64 Bit Version 1909 OS Build 18363.836. I am running build 20200409-d067627d3b-win_x86 of Foldit.

This is actually a bug not a suggestion.
Sorry for the delayed response! We updated the contest templates, so this should be fixed in new contests.
If you create another contest from the HIV Protease template, then you should be able to use the "Pick Sidechain" and "Ideal SS" tools.
I was also able to cause this error to occur with the GTPase Ras contest. Perhaps this is an issue with all the contest templates?
Are you still having issues? We updated all of the contest templates on May 18, and I'm not having any issues. Can you try making a new contest now?
