if you click somebody's name (couldn't successfully search for this player anymore) and then Add Buddy. the error page I got is: https://fold.it/portal/relationship/1006444/request

I think I never tried searching for this player before, actually. I had clicked on their name the first time in chat. This time I tried searching and didn't find them, but fortunately I had sent them a message so I could click their name.

The "buddy" system hasn't been used/valid in maybe ten years. Don't know why it's still part of the web site and game, other than the dev's might be busy working on bugs that affect game play.
