Exactly the type solution I suggested to the staff: One cannot create a profile or post to any forum until they have played "X" number of games. I got a response saying that they would consider it for this new web site.
Yes, we are working on this! New users are already blocked from creating Forum posts until they are approved (logging into a Foldit client automatically approves a user). We'll apply the same rule to the creation of Groups and Recipes.
