Not sure if this is a bug, but I reach past the max score but can't advance to the next level. The only way it works is to reset and try again. For example, I can't even advance for "Swing It Around"! It's just clearing the steric hindrance, and it's keeping me stuck at 7735 of 7700. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!
Thanks for the bug report. This is on our list to track down.
From what we can tell so far, the issue arises when you "solve" the puzzle in exploration mode, do the reset, then click through all of the boxes, then solve the puzzle again. If you either don't "solve" the puzzle in exploration mode or you solve the puzzle when one of the help boxes is still up, the issue doesn't occur. – You should be able to use the main menu (the Foldit icon) to go back to the puzzle menu, then re-select the puzzle to restart the level. Then you should be able to click through the exploration mode without changes and successfully solve the puzzle.
Please let us know if you see the issue in conditions other then the one I outline above.
Thank you for the update! The fix worked consistently for all my students and we did not encounter any more issues. So glad–Foldit is a fantastic tool to learn biochem!
