Hmm, I'm not seeing it when I load the solution you shared… You mean there was a blue arrow displayed somewhere in the Foldit window?

Where in the window was the arrow? Was it "attached" to the position or orientation of the protein, or was it fixed at one position in the window? Did it look similar to any other Foldit icons (like the green Upload for Scientists arrow)?

If you can share a screenshot, that would be very helpful!

Thanks Timo! Unfortunately I think this will be really difficult to track down if we can't reproduce the issue. Have you been able to find steps to reliably reproduce this?

You said that the arrow disappears if you load the solution on a different computer. Does the arrow reappear if you re-launch Foldit on the same computer?

This is not a new problem. I think that's a "pull" arrow. It seems like Foldit once in a while forgets to erase the arrow when you stop pulling. Often, you didn't mean to pull in the first place, There's no way to get rid of the arrow without restarting or switching puzzles. The arrow is inert, and can be ignored. It doesn't get saved with a solution.
