once again puzzle #2633 also has scoring bug with trim & untrim on terminal segments. for me selecting the following segments: 1, 432, 433, 497, 498, then doing a trim and untrim led to a total point loss of -377 points.
weirdly segment 528 gave me a 1.63 point gain.
the following recipe can be used to find the segment index for these issues. it will show a false positive for segments next to the terminal segment because it still gets trimmed.

puzzle #2630 also has scoring bug with trim & untrim on terminal segments. for me selecting the following segments: 1, 348, 349, 410, 411, 466, 467 then doing a trim and untrim led to a total point loss of -460 points. weirdly segment 497 gave me a 0.15 point gain.
this bug leads me to suggest not using trim tool at all since the recovery for this score loss is not possible.
once again puzzle #2636 also has scoring bug with trim & untrim on terminal segments. for me selecting the following segments: 1, 36, 37, 70, 71, 109, 110, 183, 184, 227 then doing a trim and untrim led to a total point loss of -530 points.
weirdly segments 35, and 182 gave me a 12.379 total point gain.
Once again puzzle #2655 (?#2645?) Electron Density Reconstruction 130 also has scoring bug with trim & untrim on terminal segments. for me selecting the following segments: 1, 141,142, 271 then doing a trim and untrim led to a total point loss of -220.569 points.
This still makes using the trim tool unusable for point gains.

While we try to fix this bug, we will attempt to post smaller ED puzzles that do not require the Trim Tool.
