Even raising the number of solutions we can Share with Scientists from
5 to 6 or 7 would be helpful, especially for Design and Sketchbook Puzzles.

Below are some other ideas for
the "Open/Share Solutions" menu:
(16) "Save Solution Description box"

Automatically remove line breaks so
solution descriptions use less space.
(17) "Make viewer for saved/shared structures"

Incorporate small rotating 3D gif movies of each
protein into the "Open/Share Solutions" menu so
players can more easily compare different
solutions.
Here I am, PURPOSEFULLY adding Line Breaks into my descriptions to make them EASIER to read!
Granted, I also keep in mind that the length is the limiting factor, so I try to pack as MUCH info into a Description with as few of words, but on their own line so that it's decipherable. Reason being, our group is rather diverse, and not all of them are native English speakers. So having a giant mash up of words could be super confusing.
The real solution is to revamp the Save Manager entirely, so that it can better accomodate the description box, such as adding scroll bars. :) (Wonder if I forgot to add in that suggestion a few weeks back…)
Love the preview window idea. I think that a simple "View" box that when clicked would download the solution on an individual basis so that it can display the 3D view –but does not move it to the Local column, unless it Download is explicitly selected– because then it can use Foldit's already incorporated preview box from the Building Blocks menu. Also because GIFs, due to being an animation, will consist of many frames (images) to make up the 'video', which would actually be a significantly larger filesize than the actual share file. (more server-side storage required; that's why my GIF screenshot idea would only be around 2s long with just 10 or so total frames [aka 5FPS])
That being said, I'll definitely be adding pretty much every request on this page to the official Community Requests Document :D Thanks Jeff, for mentioning it in that other thread!
