Description

Note: Due to a bug with the HBNet filter, this puzzle has been closed and reposted as Puzzle 1147b with a modified filter.

In this puzzle, the bonus for Hbond networks has been increased, but only Hbond networks that are at least 75% satisfied will be rewarded. Furthermore, no more than three inter-molecular Hbonds may contribute to each network! There are several other filters in effect; see the puzzle comments for details. The Baker Lab will run folding predictions on your solutions for this puzzle, and those that perform well will be synthesized in the lab. Remember, you can use the Upload for Scientists button for up to 5 designs that you want us to look at, even if they are not the best-scoring solutions!

Residue IE Score: Monitors that all PHE, TYR, and TRP residues are scoring well.

HBond Network: Rewards networks comprising at least three hydrogen bonds, with 1-3 hydrogen bonds spanning the dimer interface. In addition, at least 75% of all polar atoms in the network must make hydrogen bonds.

Core Existence: Monomer: Ensures that at least 24 residues are buried in the core of the monomer unit.

Core Existence: Complex: Ensures that at least 62 residues are buried in the core of the entire complex (including the interface between monomer units).

Fragment Score: Scans for parts of your design that are unlikely to fold up naturally. Use Rebuild and Remix tools to fix these regions of your design!

When I try to open the puzzle I get the error message "Unused key 'max_inter_hbs'." After closing the error box the screen remains the same.

Same to me. I then loaded devprev and it worked.
Could you consider giving us more time related to the time when main would be adapted to this puzzle.

Same problem as TomTaylor:
Error message reads: Unused key 'max_inter_hbs'.

Closing the error message leaves me with a black foldit screen and the words No Tool in the upper left.

I know scientists are interested in some of these larger puzzles. My machine can't handle something this size, particularly with another large puzzle open at the same time. I can only have one large puzzle client open at a time.
Is there a way to make these puzzles smaller? otherwise, I have to keep leaving the puzzles unopened and feel like I will be behind the learning curve

Sorry for the loading hiccup, everyone! This appears to be a problem specific to Foldit for Windows.

We've closed this puzzle and reposted it as Puzzle 1147b, which should be fine for all clients. Players will be able to load solutions into the reposted puzzle.
