Description

This puzzle debuts the new Neural Net Mutate action! This tool uses an AI algorithm to predict a protein sequence that will fold into a give structure. Note that Neural Net Mutate does not fold sidechains like classic Mutate, so you will probably want to run Shake after mutating. Proteins designed with this AI algorithm tend to have much higher AlphaFold confidence. Read more on the Foldit blog. Or just try it out here to see what kinds of protein designs you can come up with, and how much you can increase the AlphaFold confidence!

I don't get the 5 start positions. Only the same long chain, each time I select reset puzzle. Has really the real puzzle been posted?

Hmm, there seems to be a bug that prevents multiple starting structures from loading. We're looking into, but unlikely to fix the issue before this puzzle closes.
