This is the first in a series of puzzles, where we revist older Foldit puzzles so we can compare results to see how useful the recent additions to the game have been. Players will NOT be able to load in any previous solutions for these puzzles. This first Revisiting Puzzle goes back to July 2009; enjoy the trip back in time!

To save anyone having to look back at the original puzzle, the text of #165 was ….

"This decoy generated by Rosetta has one major error that causes it to be quite different from the native structure. We are introducing a new tool: the Behavior Tab. Hopefully with this new feature you will be able to improve this Rosetta decoy and get it closer to the native structure! Good luck!"

And the top scores were :

1 infjamc 10,536
2 aap Richard Dawkins Foundation 10,505
3 reed Skeptics Guide to the Universe 10,470
4 Enzyme 10,440
5 Steven Pletsch Another Hour Another Point 10,412

I'll admit that this puzzle gives me an unfair advantage since there is no guesswork needed this time; all I had to do was to repeat the tactic that worked for me back in 2009. The craziest part was that the structure only took less than one hour of game play to converge to a stable minimum this time thanks to the new features and recipes/scripts that have been developed over the last two years…

But here's a big hint: If you managed to get a score of at least 10300 on this puzzle, you've probably fixed the major error already.
