Description

Help fix this novel carbon-fixing enzyme. In this second puzzle of a series, the ligand score has been up-weighted and insertions have been disabled for the C-terminus. As in Puzzle 529, 7 residues can be added, and up to 10 can be removed. Here in lab, we are busily testing player designs from Puzzle 529, and hope to have results in the upcoming months to share with the Foldit community.

Any attempt to insert segments on 115-124 crashes the client every time (on my computer).

It seems like this might be a nasty April Fools joke.

Hopefully we can just post an update to devprev ASAP so we don't have to pull the puzzle.

If we have to repost the puzzle we will allow you to load in your current solutions so nothing will be lost.

We apologize for this.

I was able to cut twice without crashing; but even after stabilizing I could not add a second time. I am still working in beta

We hope to post an update to devprev very soon to address these problems.

For now, if you want to work on this puzzle it is best to use main.

Again, our apologies for this and we thank you for your patience (and especially for enduring these bugs in devprev, without your feedback things would get much worse if these bugs made themselves into the main client).
