The ...WXCXW... motif adopts a remarkably stable homodimer structure. In fact, it's so tiny, it is difficult to use as a building block for bioengineering; it needs to be larger but retain rigidity. Because we want to preserve the frozen sheets and disulfide bond across the symmetric interface, we had to turn off the move tool and lock residue 7 as well.
