Description

The CASP organizers have told us that two regions of this starting model are incorrect, so we have modified both these regions into 2 extended chains. You can use the alignment tool to thread the remaining original regions. We will repost this puzzle using the unmodifided starting model, letting you load in your solutions from this puzzle. Secondary structure predictions for this Refinement target are posted in the puzzle comments.

Here is the sequence logo predicted by the SAM server.

H = helix
E = sheet
C = loop (or coil)

The taller the letter at each position, the higher the probability of that specific secondary structure for that amino acid.

For example, the Leucines at residues 32 & 115 are highly predicted to be in a sheet. However, the Leucine at residue 103 is predicted to be in a helix.

Please put comments in these comments not on the puzzle.

Dont forget, foldit works because it is a game, not a work, not a tool to learn things, not a mean to select students…

So you can give advices, why not, but the spirit of foldit is exploring without previous knowledges.
