Description

This is a small (30 residue) symmetric dimer design puzzle. We saw some very interesting structures for the related 20 residue puzzle (Puzzle 553), but adding ten residues should open up more fun low-energy design options without being too much to handle. Remember, a symmetric protein relies not only on how well folded each part is, but also on how well they interface together. Stay tuned for three- and four-fold symmetry (trimers and tetramers) and polyhedra!
