Description

This is a small (40 residue) symmetric dimer design puzzle. We saw some very interesting structures for the related 20 residue puzzle (#553). Adding twenty residues puts this in the realm of full-scale protein domain, and docking large secondary structure motifs becomes more viable. Remember, a symmetric protein relies not only on how well folded each part is, but also on how well they interface together. Stay tuned for three- and four-fold symmetry (trimers and tetramers) and polyhedra!
