Completed an IB degree in Economics in 1994, followed by a Joint Honors in Economics and Finance with a Minor in Mathematics at McGill University in 1997. I was hired in June '97 by National Bank of Canada to trade interest rate swaps. In 1998 I started out NBC institutional fixed income option book which I traded until April 2000. I then spent one year in Pittsburgh where I completed the Master of Science in Computational Finance program at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2001 Karsten Howes and I have been put in charge of building the Credit Derivatives Desk as well as managing the liquidity portfolio for the Bank. We specialize in fixed income arbitrage with an application to portfolio management. The team was further strengthened in October 2004 when Robert Hesselbo joined the group enabling us to focus on our true interest Credit Derivatives.
