I am finishing up my undergraduate degree in chemistry (couple months to go!), with a focus in pharmaceutical and organic chemistry and a minor in microbiology. My research is based on synthesizing various ultrashort cationic (lipo)peptides with potential antimicrobial activity. As a result, conformational analyses of peptides and their interaction with pathogenic microbes is paramount. Hail chemistry.
