Here's my attempt at converting the foldit logo to SVG. You can then use a program like inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org) to create PNG files at any resolution from this vector image:
http://user.interface.org.nz/~gringer/pics/foldit-logo.svg
[linked because the portal doesn't allow embedding of SVG files]
The fonts need to be fixed (I didn't know what font has been used in this logo, so just did a convert to paths, which looks bad), and a bottom shading should be added to the bottom text.
I'd like to put out a general recommendation for Inkscape, or a similar vector-based program, for T-shirt design work because it's much easier to generate images of arbitrary resolutions off vector images.
your base to work from high-resolution version of the Foldit logo is 640 x 389 pixels.
Sorry mat, there were access issues for some players. If you click the link, everyone should now have an "Original" link on the Image page, with which you can download the high-resolution version.
To post an image, click the add image button below the text field. That brings up the dialog you linked to, where you can upload images and have thumbnail links be inserted into your post automatically. However, as noted, you must disable rich editing while inserting the image.
For discussion, questions, suggestions related to the T-shirt design competition.
logo with two items from the game
Even though that sounds great, I can't find an "image button" below my text field?

But it's still early, so maybe I'm missing it…
can someone please use a fat red marker to point out the image button?
Thanks

I'm not a graphic designer, but I thought I'd give it a try. This is what came up…
I don't think it would be wise to use the name of an established game as part of this game's logo. The copyright violation litigation could be astounding.

unlike my earlier version, this is a real-ish attempt, lol
Nicky… your design kicks butt! I like!
