How did you get all those Profiles?
Did you check them one by one?
This is such a waste of time chasing this stuff.
Would it be so bad to just not allow links in the profile?
There is already a homepage link space which can be abused, but to just allow free-form links in the profile text seems to be more troublesome than it's worth.
Brick, I don't want to write a complete profile from scratch on all internet-sites I am.
So I like the possibility to create a link in the profile, because I can refer to my MySpace-Account to give more detailed information without writing everything time and again.
But you are right. The more links, the more trouble.
There should not be the possibility to create more than one link in the profile.
The Homepage link is just enough.
Maybe we can introduce a rating for those links.
Well, I don't feel the need to even have a profile. What's the point?
I have a pseudo-name (ID), my scores and ranking, and possibly a team membership. Even a location is stretching it. I guess I'm just not vain enough to believe that anyone needs or wants to read anything more about me.

Having a profile is a way to show that you are real, and has nothing to do of beiing vain or an exhibitionist, as far as you don't write everything about yourself.
As I said before, someone who isn't criminal and does only good things should have nothing, which he has to hide.
