Group chat boots team members

Greetings all,
This is the latest and last bulletin from me on this issue.
As I said above, I came to the conclusion that my difficulties were local; I
investigated the possibilities of security issues, IRQ conflicts etc. etc. and concluded that the
problem was beyond my diagnostic ability.
I decided to use a linux system instead of windows and seen whether that made any difference.
To this end, I loaded Ubuntu, which is a linux system that can be used as an alternative platform to windows
while retaining windows as another OS. In other words, when you boot up, you are presented with a choice of 2 OS's. As many here will know, Linux will not run .exe files by itself, one needs to use an add on, "Wine"
being the one I found. After a little bit of tinkering, and a little assistance from someone more familiar with Linux than I, Foldit now has (for the very first time since I first joined in the game!) full functionality. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeha!!

User 'philcalhoun' on team 'Free-DC' has not been able to join group chat since the server "issues".

I believe he has tried all the posted fixes. Any suggestions?

Bump.
This is happening again.
But it looks to me as client not server problem. My log says:

BOINC says connect to: 128.95.1.227
Using nick: rav3n_pl
Ended Initialization of NoviceGame
SRVR_THRD starting solution upload…
Entering IRC::run
message is identify my currnet irc key
SRVR_THRD finished solution upload. took 1.6674 seconds.
SRVR_THRD sending: 174969 989868 group_score
SRVR_THRD sending: 174969 989868 score
SRVR_THRD getting notifications…

It should use nick "rav3npl" not "rav3n_pl".
BUT it is connected to main and puzzle channels as "rav3npl"… have no idea.

Can`t connect to our group chat now.
We need "reconnect to IRC button" and maybe store somewhere in options irc nick?

Tried to fix permissions via site - no workie.

rav3npl is member of #AnthropicDreams, but not rav3n_pl.
Have you use rav3n_pl as irc nick name before ?

I have:
login name: Rav3n_pl
irc nick: rav3npl

Have tried to use "rav3npl" irc nick by external irc and enter team channel - no problem.

That is right, your irc nick name is different than your login name.
