Intermediate Overall Design SymmetryThis is the second round in a series of interface redesign puzzles with increasing tolerance for buried blue, polar residues. Try to redesign a more polar interface between the symmetric subunits of this protein! This symmetric trimer was originally designed by Museka in Puzzle 742. See Puzzle 851 for more information. You may load in previous solutions from Puzzle 851.
We're aware that some users have seen inconsistent scoring when saving/loading solutions in Puzzle 851: https://fold.it/portal/node/997152
Unfortunately, this problem hasn't been ironed out yet. If you try to load in a solution and it scores lower than you expect, it would be helpful to us if you share that solution using the Share with Scientists option.
Aside from this sporadic bug, solutions from Puzzle 851 should score as well or higher in this puzzle.
(Not only for this one) bugs on share with team or myself (Windows)
Crash of the only client stil able to evolve up 14909. The saves and shares start at 14842, 9 hours before the end (it took more than this to go from 14842 to 14909), so there is no other way than abandoning.
And with all these bugs (also a symmetry bug), an the fact that I'm competing alone with only one client, I'm even not sure this solution is sound for science. May be other players would have find better solution.
Quite frustrating (but this is life).
Could you wait a little bit for 3th round that this kind of bug is fixed?
