In this interface design puzzle there is a loop at the interface which is designable, try to improve the interface! If you are new to Foldit, make sure you have completed the Introductory Design Puzzles (6-1 through 7-2). For players with fewer than 15 global points.

We are giving one of the server only CASP9 targets whose structure has not been released yet. You have 10 server predictions as starting models, so anytime you reset you will randomly start with one of the 10 models. You can also access each model individually by using the Alignment Tool as all 10 server models are in your template reserve. Note that although the sequences for each model are identical in the Alignment Tool, threading will result in very different starting structures.

We are giving you CASP9 Puzzle 36 again, but this time we are giving you predictions from other servers as starting models (all 9 server models are in your template reserve so that you can use partial threading). NOTE: This deadline is earlier in the day than usual.

We designed a helix to contact our substrate, but the helix needs back up to stay in place. The goal of this puzzle is to design a loop and mutate residues to create a more stable configuration, making a more active catalyst (ie create a Helix-Loop-Helix). See the blogpost for more details: http://fold.it/portal/node/988587

In this puzzle we hold key residues fixed on the binder protein and ask you to add up to 3 residues in this loop, reform it, and redesign its sequence. See this blogpost for more details: http://fold.it/portal/node/988545

We are giving you CASP9 Puzzle 28 again, but this time we are giving you predictions from other servers as starting models (all 10 server models are also in your template reserve so that you can use partial threading). This is a multi-start puzzle, so anytime you reset you will randomly start with one of the 10 starting models (or you can just thread them directly using the Alignment Tool). NOTE: This puzzle's deadline is earlier in the day than usual.
