We are giving you CASP9 Puzzle 4 again, but this time with the native structure as a guide. Use the alignment tool and try to match the native as much as possible. After threading, make sure to press G to Align the Guide. You can turn the guide off by pressing 'Shift-S' if at first you want more of a challenge!

We are giving you CASP9 Puzzle 14 again, but this time we are giving you predictions from other servers as starting models (all 10 server models are also in your template reserve so that you can use partial threading). This is a multi-start puzzle, so anytime you reset you will randomly start with one of the 10 starting models (or you can just thread them directly using the Alignment Tool). NOTE: We have extended this deadline since the native was not released this week.

We've got another TNT binding puzzle for you guys! This time it's in a periplasmic binding protein. These proteins are very interesting due to their use in signal transduction systems and because they're fairly dynamic. You'll notice that the protein has a "hinge" in the middle of it (you can imagine the middle of the protein opening up like pac man). This region actually bends back and forth, opening up the binding site and closing it. The goal here is to design the closed protein state such that the TNT ligand will "bridge the gap" and cause the protein to snap shut. The hints mentioned in the previous TNT puzzle still apply and will be repeated in the comments section.
