This currently unsolved protein does not have any templates that we can use, so we are giving it to you as an extended chain. Use all your skills to fold it up as best as you can. The secondary structure predictions are posted in the puzzle comments, but we have included them in the starting structure as well.

We are giving you CASP9 Puzzle 23 again, but this time with the native structure as a guide. Use the alignment tool and try to match the native as much as possible. One of the 5 starting models is already close to the native, so this can be an easy Alignment Tool puzzle. After threading, make sure to press G to Align the Guide. You can turn the guide off by pressing 'Shift-S' if you want more of a challenge!

These are the improvements to the interface we were aiming for in Foldit Puzzle 389: Design the Interface 5. Please check out the new blogpost for more info about the "Design the Interface" puzzles.

This interface design puzzle has a loop at the interface which is designable, but this time you are able to insert up to 7 residues and we are using the new disembodied sidechain representation (for Arg 285). See this blogpost (http://fold.it/portal/node/989141) for more info about this new representation and if you are new to Foldit, make sure you have completed the Introductory Design Puzzles (6-1 through 6-4).

This interface design puzzle is similar to Puzzle 391. There is a loop at the interface which is designable, but this time you are able to insert up to 5 residues and we are using the new disembodied sidechain representation (for Phe 310).
