This is a re-release of puzzle 438 (Electron Density Puzzle 1). However, this time you're scored on how well you fit the guide. The density on this puzzle isn't as perfect as it was on the previous 2 Electron Density puzzles, so it should be more difficult to figure out exactly which piece goes where. This is the first in a series of design puzzles where we need you to remodel a loop to better interact with the ligand. You can insert up to 10 residues and are able to mutate all the residues in that loop. This puzzle is worth 125 points! More details in the puzzle comments.

This is the re-release of puzzle 458 that was taken down. We've resolved the issues with the puzzle, and it is now available for play again. You may load in your solutions from the original puzzle, or start fresh on it if you hadn't had a chance to play it before. Be sure to play the Electron Density Intro puzzle if you haven't already.

466: Flu Design Puzzle 3

Here is one of our newest small proteins that binds the flu virus. It should look very similar to some of the earlier posted flu designs because it is! However, we've added a new interaction at position 295 that we hope will help it target different subtypes of the flu. If you are new to Foldit, make sure you have completed Intro Puzzle 5-2, & 7-1 through 7-4. See the puzzle comments for more info.

468: Exploration Puzzle of 457 Round 3

This is the third round of the exploration version of puzzle 457. Explore away from the structures shown on the contact map to increase your score multiplier. You can access these 19 different structures by opening the alignment panel. Play the exploration puzzle tutorial and get started by going to [Actions]->[Contact Map]. This third round will be worth 20 points and will last 2 days.
