This puzzle had to be taken down due to a bug with the new Alignment Tool in the developer preview. You can load your solutions from this puzzle into Puzzle 510b.

For the last puzzle for R0001 (which is due next week) we are giving you the 5 BAKER-ROSETTASERVER predictions, generated using Rosetta@home. Resetting the puzzle will cycle through these 5 server models and they are available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading between them.

The fifth CASP ROLL target, R0005, is due in 2 weeks so we are skipping the freestyle puzzle and providing you with server predictions. Luckily this is not a big protein and the Alignment Tool has an extended chain that you can work with (if you don't want to be influenced by the server predictions). Resetting the puzzle will cycle through 10 different server predictions. They are also available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading. The secondary structure prediction are posted in the puzzle comments.

We want to let you work on the top 5 Foldit predictions for the first CASP ROLL target. We are providing you with early states of those models so that you don't start trapped in local energy minima. Resetting the puzzle will cycle through 5 player predictions that are also available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading. We will then repost this with RosettaServer predictions later this week.

We are revisting old Foldit puzzles so we can compare results to see how useful the recent additions to the game have been. Players will NOT be able to load in any previous solutions for these puzzles. The seventh Revisiting Puzzle also goes back to May 2009: http://fold.it/portal/node/986127

This is a repost of Puzzle 505, but we've added the 5 BAKER-ROSETTASERVER predictions, generated using Rosetta@home. Resetting the puzzle will cycle through the same top 5 Foldit player predictions from Puzzle 505, as well as these 5 server models. They are all available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading and you can load your previous solutions from Puzzle 505 as well.

We want to let you work on the top 5 Foldit predictions for the second CASP ROLL target (the 5 models we would submit to CASP). Instead of giving you those final 5 models, however, we are providing you with early states of those models so that you don't start trapped in local energy minima. Resetting the puzzle will cycle through 5 player predictions. They are also available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading. This puzzle will have 2 rounds, more details are in the puzzle comments.

We are finally giving you more freedom with the Flu Puzzles, by letting you modify the structure of the small protein that binds to the flu virus (you can still mutate the sidechains). The Flu Virus is still frozen. If you are new to Foldit, make sure you have completed Intro Puzzle 5-2, & 7-1 through 7-4. See the puzzle comments for more info about these Flu Puzzles.

We are reposting the third CASP ROLL target, R0003, but this time we are providing you with server predictions. Resetting the puzzle will cycle through 10 different server predictions. They are also available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading. We are giving you 10 days to work on this target (worth 120 points) so make sure to try out all 10 server models.

This is the second round of Puzzle 488. The first round had a lowered clashing importance, but in this round, we've raised it back up to normal. We're interested to see what solutions you come up with after you've relaxed and stabilized your solutions from round 1.
