We are reposting the second CASP ROLL target, R0002, but this time we are providing you with server predictions. Resetting the puzzle will cycle through 10 different server predictions. They are also available in the Alignment Tool so you can use partial threading. Since this is such a large protein we are giving you over 3 weeks (and 250 points) to work on this so please make sure to try out all 10 models. If you have trouble loading this puzzle, try checking the box "disable network timeouts" when you login.

*This puzzle has been taken down due to a bug. It will be reposted at a future date with the ability to load in solutions* In local refinement puzzles, your job is to find the region of the protein that needs the most work and improve that region to get the top score. You can choose which area you want to work on by going through the different starts of the puzzle (there are 10 starts in all, and you may access these by resetting the puzzle, which will give you the next start).

This puzzle is designed for veteran Foldit players to help new players, so this version of the puzzle is only worth global 50 points.

In this puzzle, we've cut up the protein into chunks of loops, sheets, and helices. Use the Move Tool (Acessible by clicking on the segment you want to move) and reposition the secondary structures into their correct positions. You'll need the latest update to play this puzzle.

This is a repost of the third CASP ROLL target, R0003. Since this target has many Cysteines, we have enabled disulfide bonding for this puzzle. More info about Disulfide Bridges in Foldit here: http://foldit.wikia.com/wiki/Disulfide_Bridge. Once formed, you'll need to click "Show Bonds (sidechain)" to view them. You can load in your previous solutions from Puzzle 495.

This is a repost of 473 (Electron Density Puzzle 5). We've adjusted the scoring of this puzzle to reward you more for conforming to the Electron Density. To get started, try playing the Electron Density intro puzzle.

The third CASP ROLL target, R0003, is only 33 residues! We are giving it to you as a freestyle puzzle, so try to fold it in every possible way you can think of. The secondary structure predictions are useless, but you can view them in the puzzle comments. Have fun with this one, it's not due until March.

Can you make the loop better before this puzzle closes on Friday?

The second CASP ROLL target, R0002, is 197 residues! We are giving it to you as a freestyle puzzle while we wait for the server predictions to come back. We are providing you with secondary structure predictions that are posted in the puzzle comments and included (only the strong predictions) in the starting structure as well. Again, the deadlline isn't until February!
